Advice To Heed Matthew 7:21-27 Jesus is concluding the Sermon on the Mount. He gives us some sobering advice that we must heed. A SCARY WARNING - Vss. 21-23 Not everyone that calls Jesus Lord is going to Heaven! Vs. 21 Those who would enter Heaven must do the will of the Father. Vs. 21 The primary thing a person must do is to place his faith in the Son of God for salvation. Acts 4:12, John 3:36 There will be those who will claim to have done great things in the name of Jesus, but will be rejected. Vss. 22-23 A SECURE FOUNDATION - Vss. 24-25 The person who hears Jesus' words and does them in the one whom is building on a foundation that will keep him through any trial or judgment. A SHAKY FOUNDATION - Vss. 26-27 The person who hears Jesus words and does not do them is building on a foundation that will wash away during trials and judgment.
